Welcome to the 50th Jubilee ICBL website

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 50th Jubilee International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids, to be held from 1-5 September 2009, in Regensburg, Germany.

The overall theme of this year's meeting is:
"Biological and regulatory functions of lipid molecular species"

The Jubilee ICBL brings together researchers from different disciplines interested in the bioscience of lipids. The program of the 50th ICBL is composed of 7 symposia containing plenary lectures of renowned scientists and short oral presentations chosen from submitted abstracts (including the BBA Young Speaker Award).
In addition, there will be poster sessions (including the ICBL 2009 Poster Awards), and plenty opportunities for scientific discussions. An interesting social program will be provided to explore the city of Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its surroundings. The venue of the meeting is the “Kolpinghaus“ in Regensburg, situated only 2 minutes walking distance from the historic city center.
